Have you ever felt like things are TOO quiet?

Are you in a season where everything seems to have gone silent?

Sometimes we find ourselves in a waiting season, but we don’t exactly know what it is we’re waiting for. Other times, we’ve done everything we can in order to receive the outcome we’re seeking, and yet, no change. What are we missing??

There was a time in my life when opportunities got quiet. Meaning, the opportunities were there, but maybe not how I expected, or they weren’t “physical” opportunities. Today I learned that God isn’t always talking to us about what He’ll do in the future, but speaking to our future self, telling us who we need to become in order to receive and sustain these promises.

Maybe we haven’t received it yet because we’re not ready to carry what it comes with or we aren’t quite the version of ourselves that can properly sustain, appreciate, and multiply the blessing. Instead of growing weary, let us become better in the waiting season. Then when it finally comes, we’ll realize we’ve grown in ways we didn’t even know we needed -and we can do with the answered prayer what God intended all along.

We have opportunities all around us to look within, grow, and become the people God has called us to be.
